LOFT AND FOUND

LOGLINE: Millennial roommates with Peter Pan syndrome turn their already chaotic Brooklyn warehouse loft into a music venue, as they battle eviction, middle age, and each other.

PREMISE: Faced with rising rent and a dwindling years to live their dreams, five artists in their mid 30s turn their former industrial loft into a music venue. Navigating wild lifestyles, aging roommate drama, and the creep of modern anxiety, can they get their shit together? ...or at least make this month's rent?

ORIGIN STORY: I found my first place in NYC on Craigslist– a warehouse loft deep in Brooklyn with five roommates and a stage in the living room, that to this day hosts concerts, plays, and parties until all hours. If that didn’t already sound like a TV show, our neighbors actually throw sex parties, drug ceremonies, and circus shows. Yup.

VIBE:  The very real, very talented people from the loft play exaggerated versions of themselves, acting out true stories from real events. This blend of reality and traditional narrative makes for a completely original experience of this highly unique corner of the world. Viewers can vicariously live a wild, bohemian lifestyle, without ever having to smell it.

Y THO?: Loft and Found is a show about our lost, anxious generation as we try to find and maintain identity, community, and our own version of adulthood in the post-covid era. What else are we going to do, save for retirement?
